About the author
Nicholas Shaw
Nicholas Shaw is a writer and creator from Charlotte, North Carolina. The Little Light Who Forgot How to Shine is his first children’s book, created from a deep knowing that a light lives within all of us—even when we forget it is there.
Through the LumiLove Series, Nicholas hopes to create stories that help children feel seen, loved, and reminded of who they truly are, while also speaking to the light in all of us.
Long before Lumi, there was a little boy learning to recognize his own light. This story was written for him—and for every child who deserves to grow up knowing their light was never lost.

When will my book ship?
The first printing is expected to ship in December 2026. That date is an estimate and may change as printing and international freight are completed.
Can I order a signed copy?
Yes. Choose “Signed by Nicholas Shaw” on the Square product page. The signed hardcover is $40.
How much is shipping?
Standard U.S. shipping is a flat $6.99 per order. Applicable sales tax is calculated after you enter your shipping address.
